This old man has been riding since he was 16. Thats when dad bought he a Cushman Eagle. The year was 1964. He got it for me to encourage me to keep my grades up in school, with liitle luck. But I learned to love the feeedom of riding on that old cushman, and since then I've owned several other bikes, all Hondas.
I've always wanted an Cushman Truckster to putter around in. I go to Home Depot allot, since I'm a handyman, and hauling stuff in the bed of my Ford 150. But I think it would be fun, and economical too, to do it in a lCushman Truckster. But since they don't make them anymore I'd have to buy an antique one.
Right now I ride a classic Honda, a 1983 Siverwing 650cc. It's a nice bike, and it only has 2300 original miles on it. I bought it from another old coot that used it very little and kept it garaged. It was a great find. Thats all the bike I can handle now that I'm 62. Besides it reminds me of the bikes I use to ride when I was a teenager. I've got more time to tour around Daytona now that I retired this year. Maybe I'll join a local bike club.
