I bought my brand spanking new R6 in May, 2004. I would totally recommend this bike to anyone-it looks great and it´s very fast! But as every powerful bike, you need to respect it, especially as a novice rider. I have already put over 2,500 miles on it and I´m loving it. Recently, I put an aftermarket exhaust -Blue Flame, eliminated the bulky rear fender and replaced the rear blinkers with smaller, sportier, and better looking Watsen Design flushies. This R6 is just AWESOME! .....still riding my baby-over 4,500 miles! ...as of September, 2004 - Sold my R6 with over 17,000 miles on the clock...as of August 2007 - Moved to California and have been bikeless for about a year. - Finally picked up another new bike - left over 2007 Yamaha R1 and loving it. I do miss my first baby though :( I have recently moved back to PA and live near Lansdale. Still have my R1 and can't wait for the Winter of 2011 to pass by quickly. Ride safe everyone!
