Well, What can I say! Love bikes! I first rode a bike when I was in college. My first ever bike was the original Yamaha FS1E £90 if I correctly remember!..mmm maybe should have kept it as they seem to be collectors items nowadays. Top speed going down a very steep hill was 60mph(Indicated). At this speed it was deadly, as the brakes were shite! I always seemed to be working on this bike, and was visiting the local breakers every other week! Way back then there was no need for CBTs etc! My next bike was a Suzuki ER50 motoX bike. I was up at my local hills back in Reigate. Back then, it was far easier to go off roading without too many complaints! We use to get up some very steep inclines...though a couple of hundred feet run up was needed, otherwise you would just fall back down nearer reaching the top! This bike was where I first learnt to wheelie... It was all technique as obviously the bike was very underpowered and wouldn´t just wheelie with throttle! I decided to go practical and got rid of what I thought would be my last sportsbike. I am now living with the BMW R1200GS. Loads of room on this bike, and can travel distances without getting any aches and pains at the end of it. The biking season came back, and withdrawal symptoms set it. I yearned for a sportsbike again! I bought myself my first litre sportsbike.. The carb version of the R1. Really fell in love with this bike. truly an exceptional bike... Though reasons I had to sell it..
