Isn't she lovely? There was a gaping hole in her fender when she arrived. chrome and some bodywork were messed up by rust in a few places. Assumption: from saltwater in the air pre- and post- departure from port. Rear blinkers had been removed (to make way, hastily, for panniers). Light cables were disconnected. Tool box (?) cover removed with exposed divider left to rust. How could anyone not care so much? Sanded down rusty bits, spray-chromed parts that needed re-chroming , primed and resprayed some black parts (on rusted parts of frame). Filled in hole, sanded, sprayed fender.... And the beat goes on.... She'll be a work in progress for many months to come, to get her into pristine condition.
