Built 1970 using M.O.D. [Signals Research and Development Establishment] tools and facilities. Inspired by "Easy Rider" 1928 Frances Barnet fuel tank purchased at auto jumble fair causing threats on my life by members of the Frances Barnet owners club. Exhaust system 2* 3 way truncated cones built as excercise in sheet metal fabrication engineering. Had to tell the instructor they were for "lamp stands" or he would'nt approve the excercise. Ended up making 2 extra ones for the instructor! The natural rake of 1.5 degrees of the Panther frame [for side car handling] made handling surprisingly good.
