Taken January 31st 2003 the morning after a snowstorm left London at a standstill. I'd taken the train home because I just knew I'd crash if I tried riding the bike and in the end it was a good call. The roads near my home were near impassable to anything but 4wd or on foot, and certainly not a sports bike with road tyres. I left the bike at work under the cover of a large archway in the building, but even there the strong wind plastered it with snow. This is the CBR in full-on winter commute mode: Handlebar muffs fitted and everything encrusted with salt and other roadshite. Unfortunately this is one of the only pictures I have of the bike. It's not that I don't love the machine; it's just that I always seem to snap pictures of people and scenery and ignore the bike.
