November 18th 2011 6:30pm Travelling along A45 dual carriageway 70mph. Bit of a mechanical bang, automatically pulled clutch in, freewheeled to a halt. Pushing began. Snapped conrod, bit of a hole in crankcase! Piston cracked but still free in bore. Exhaust valves slightly bent, bottom of liner broken. Woodruff key sheared, flywheel bolt loose, few teeth on gear missing. mmm new engine.
