Bought this for a thousand bucks. It literally came in ziplock bags. It started out in Switzerland. When new it was ridden around Europe and then boxed up and sent to south America. Ridden up through Mexico, the States and then into Canada. Then dropped/crashed. The Swiss guy walked away. Spent 10 years getting passed around and then almost totally taken apart by "some guy". Took me 4 months to rebuild it, and another 3 to get all its import paperwork sorted. Done, and it's a blast. I've never been off road before and I'm loving it. The Triple is a really fun engine. Sounds like nothing else. British engineering is absolutely bass-ackwards and compared to Jap-know-how is light years behind......but super fun!
