Ya know after owning the 550 for 2 years, i wanted a lighter dual sport. I decided on an XT350. I made mine even lighter by changing over to led blinkers and tail light, a small sealed battery, and removing passenger pegs, plastic shrouds, and stuff under the rear fender. I also put on a Cobra exhaust. I think i dropped the bike's weight down about 15-20 pounds. I also custom fit a chain tensioner from an atv. I will eventually sell this one when i get my 83 XT250 on the road. Sorry 350, but yer just not old-school enough.
