I have a tdm for summer riding and a zzr250 for crashing, my zzr has now been round the clock twice-occasionaly upright.Another is in the process of being rebuilt and it may last more than a month before gravel rash sets in- just like the previous owner, isnt that right JASON(car magnet).........................................................
Most people use(abuse)the little zzr for local trips, but they have lives and i dont so 400 to 500mile day trips can happen quite frequently, get on single track roads in scotland and hunt down some larger prey, take in the sights, its even more fun when its raining.right im off to fix jasons handy work now ........boing.....................................................................
WONDERING WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PAINTED ZZR? Up the cat and fiddle road(ace but high fatality rate) im on the tdm, my friend clive on the newly painted zzr with nobby on the back.
After exiting one of my favourate bends, a quick look in my mirror and hey presto theres my 250 harpooning the wall. As the front wheel hits the wall THE REAR SUSPENSION WAS JUST UNLOADING AFTER MOUNTING THE PAVMENT SO NOBBY WENT FOR A GRAVITY LESSON AND A HALF, ABOUT 8FEET UP-THIRTY FEET OUT AND THERES ALSO A TWENTY FOOT DROP ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL TO CONSIDER.
...........Clive does not remember entering macclesfield to this day.
Hopefully the rebuild will start about november so i will have four bikes to crash mmmmmm gravel.
