My dad had me riding at the age of 5 years old on a 1960's Yamaha 100cc twin cylinder road bike. We road it around the farm and I was hooked on bikes from day one. Fast forward decades and I have owned and rode enduros, MX, and crotch rockets through the years. I am pretty good wrench and always have a project going. I am a retired machinist by trade as well as a good fabricator and a ex-certified mechanic. I hated working on cars!! I also modify/build 2 stroke engines as one of my hobbies. One of my current projects is a 01 YZ Hybrid. My son and I are building this together. This will be primarily his single track woods bike but I will be riding it some. With this project we are using a Yamaha IT200 free air engine. We wanted a light, nimble woods bike with out radiators & hoses to deal with. When this project is finished it should weigh in at around 185-190lbs wet full of fuel. Al
