I have spent 10 years restoring this beautiful 1978 Kawasaki Z1R after purchasing it from my brother for 1000$ in 1994. He had dumped it on a rain/oil slick road and there was plenty to fix. I have left everything stock except the air filter box and a better than new seat cover replica. This bike is special to me because it has a timeless appearance and styling. Quite a few "firsts" for the industry at the the time it came out and a high collector value. Enjoy
