This is our first road bike. A big way to start but after a year all I can say is I got it right first time. Looking for something different my wife Janice and I joined the Ulysses club and are having a ball. That is a club for 50 yr plus riders. You can join at 40 as a junior member so we have people to help us onto our bikes.The XJR is great. Easy to ride and a bike you are not likely to get bored with. Tonnes of grunt!! 13,000 kilometers in the first year so we are getting in to it. Put on new Scorpion pipes to do the bike justice. Heated hand grips next. Must be getting soft. Love the wind in the face riding.
