UEA Racing Australia
The UEA Group have made a commitment to sponsor charity groups, community organisations, sporting teams and individuals since its inception over ten years ago.
The two directors Keith Whittaker and Andrew Rowlands both live in Goulburn, New South Wales, in Australia's Capital Region, and have been avid sponsors of many local junior sporting teams in soccer, basket ball and the Australian Football League (AFL).
For the past eight years UEA have sponsored the Special Children's Christmas Party, and more recently two young girls who shaved their heads to raise money for the Cancer Council.
UEA love speed; and sponsor Goulburn man Ian Burrows in the PCR Sprintcars series, 23 year old Troy Herfoss in motorcycle roadracing, and 5 Capital Region Under 19's motocross riders Sid Rowlands, Joe Gillespie, Lewis Reardon, Joel Griggs and Jack McNeice.
In 2009 Troy rode in the US for the KTM team and won the AMA 450cc Supermoto series.
In 2010 he rode in Australia for the Suzuki team and won the Australian 600cc Supersport Roadracing Championship.
In 2011 Troy is riding for Suzuki in the Australian Superbike Championship on a GSX1000R.
In 2011 UEA Racing set up a 5 rider Motocross Development Team to contest the Under 19's Class in the Australian Rockstar MX Nationals, the NSW State MX Championships, and selected rounds of the Dirt Action Amcross Natural Terrain MX Series and the ACT Motor Cycle Club's MX Club Championship.
UEA's support for the MX riders includes a team coach, team suspension specialist, technical advice and mentoring.
All are totally committed to performing at the highest level in their endeavours and the UEA Group appreciate that with their support.
