I´ve owned my 1987 SP 125 since it was new. It has over 33k miles on it. This summer with the high gas prices, I rode it to work everyday, 50 miles round trip. I put over 4k on it this summer alone. I get between 66 and 81 MPG depending on the outside temperature and the wind direction. I change oil every 500 miles, which is every two weeks sometimes. I carry it on the front of my Truck/Camper when I go camping with a Tilt-a-Rack that fits in the front receiver of my truck. I installed a metal milk creat on the back and use it for my grocery getter when I´m camping. It´s paid for itself many times over and I wouldn´t trade it for anything.
