I started doing this after both my sons outgrew gocarts. Working on these older Honda's is fairly addictive. We have had fun researching both how they work and how to find parts. Surprisingly, the technology mirrors later model car electronics and hardware. This should be a lifelong skill that helps them as they maintain cars in a cost effective way. Not to mention that they will climb anything!
