I have been riding Bikes since the 70´s, and did a bit of road racing, as well as drag strip runs. I have owned dozens of bikes over the years, starting from Yamaha FS1, Honda CB 350 ( Brand new (NZ$999), Kawasaki H2 750 ( Brand New - First Model ($NZ1849) ( 3 of these all first model - two were worked ( performance enhanced and customised) ,Kawasaki ZI 900(The first Model - Brand new NZ$2349 - acheived 11.89 sec on 1/4 mile on this stock bike - very quick machine) Yamaha SC500 (Street Legal) Suzuki TS250, Suzuki T350, Suzuki TR250 Factory Road Racer,Suzuki 750 Triple (Water Bus) - ( 3 of these two first model and one twin disc model) Yamaha IT 175, Yamaha Ag 100, Suzuki TS 400, Kawasaki S1 350 Triple, Suzuki GS1000 - Had this beautiful fast bike stolen while in Sydney Australia, Kawasaki Z1000 MKII( Ex NSW Police) - brought this back to NZ. Yamaha 400 V twin, Kawasaki GPZ1000RX Ninja -Big Black and Beautiful! Current Classic Bike. Have also added a ZZR1100 Kawasaki, A Kawasaki 1100 B1 Bored to 1300, and the latest addition to the family is a Kawasaki ZX1400, which I have started to run on the drag strip. Still love riding, Drag Racing and going on rides/rallys etc. Have run the Kawasaki ZX14 at Meremere , Taupo, Masterton and Tokoroa Drag Strips, and managed to take out A/MB and AA/MB National records, Runner up in Modified Bike in the NZDRA 2007 Points series and Winner of the Champion Dragway 2007 points series. Runner up in Modified Bike in the NZDRA Points Series 2008. Ran the Kawasaki ZX14 to 212mph in practicing for Landspeed racing. Took the Kawasaki ZX-14 to Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah , USA in August 2007 for Speed week. With Traction issues on salt only ran to 180mph. Ran the Kawasaki ZX-14 Black Thunder in Production Class. Still experiencing wheel spin. 181.9mph with rear wheel spinning to 210mph. Will be returning to Bonneville in 2009 for speed week, to reattempt record challenge. - Ran 198.702 mph - still wheelspinning at that speed clocking rear wheel at 220mph! Have added a second Kawasaki ZX-14 2008 Model "Black Thunder II" to my collection. 2010 Added a Third Kawasaki 2007 ZX14 "Black Thunder III" to the Black Thunder Racing Team.
