I like to ride the back roads of British Colombia, sometimes i´ll go for 3day camping trips 100´s of kilos from every where! Most places I go to, are 200 to 300 km´s with no fuel,. The KLR can go 400km´s per tank. Check out the cool sledding pictures too! June 11 2005, I have just retured from a 15 day, 9000 km road trip from Vancouver to Inuvik in the northwest territories. My KLR650 held up good besides worn out tires,sprockets and chain, nothing ells was wrong with the bike. I did do the necessary up grades, like the frame bolt, rad guard, hwy pegs etc. other upgrades where, charging light, driving lights, tall windshield, signal beeper, skid plate, rear rack and storage tube in front of the hwy pegs.
