I´m an Insurance broker working in Norwich. Enjoy riding at high speeds areound the Norfolk and Suffolk border twisties. I currently own a GSXR 600 K4 which is my first four stroker. I have previously owned bikes including MBX50 AR50 TZR125RR RGV250VJ22 and others. My plans for the gixer are to add twin tuning devil cans (shotgun style) and modify the undertray. Other than that this bikeis beautiful and I get as much enjoyment from sitting and looking at it as riding it. I would recommend this bike for anyone moving up from a 250 or 400 cc as it feels very small and responsive just without the rattling of the smaller bikes. My dream bike would be an MV Augusta, I hope to be able to get one in a few years when I eventually upgrade. Crashes - I have been involved in 5 crashes in the last8 years of riding, the worst being a head on collission for which the driver ofthe car was found to be negligent- he didn´t see me coming and pulled across me. I ahve been fortunate enough to have never broken anything, just suffering severe bruising. My crashes have not put me off riding they have just made me mutch more aware of the dangers involved and taught me when it is ok to drive fast and when you should sit back and cruise. For this reason I think that having a minor off is a good thing in a way and therefore think that starting out on a small powered bike is definately the best option. Having said that if I had the money at the time I probably would have got bigger bikes but in retrospect I am glad I didn´t. Things i like - Th Bike Safe Scheme run by Norfolk county council has put signs up all over the ditrict saying "think bike" I think this is great- not only does it make road users more freindly, i.e. they move over a lot more when you are passing, but also the signs make the riders think because they are strategicaly placed at hazardous points. My main aim of this summer is to get my knee down on a corner. In the winter I want to buy another RGV250 and do it up to sell.
