Purchased my 1995 Polaris 425 Magnum "4 Stroke" Last June of 07 since my son in law has a 96 Polaris 400 2 cycle. He had purchased his new and after riding it, I was sold. I chose chain driven due to the cost of repairs. I replaced the oil pump gear which only has a pin holding the drive gear to the oil pump. The upgraded gear is bolt mounted, which eliminated the ticking noise due to the gap between the pin and gear on the old pump. Other than that, for a 95 this bike is like new.
