i bought my first bike when i was fifteen and i had it for one year, it was a suzuki dr125! , now, several years later i decided to go for my licence so before i took the bike course i went out and bought a 2002 kawasaki ninja zx-12r, you should see the face on people when i tell them it's my first bike!! the most common phrase that comes up is "who's the idiot that sold you this bike!"
i bought the bike used from a honda dealership, i got on the bike, it felt good, it was the right size! that's why i bought it!!
of course, with no licence, i could not leave the dealership so i called one of my friends who's been riding for 12 years to pick up my bike, i then told him to take it for a ride and return it later when you're done! he took it for a ride, and it scared the living crap out of him!! he then took it home to put a screw in the throtle so the engine would not exceed 7,000 rpm! he told me he did that so i would'nt kill myself!! that's what i call a real friend!
i only have my temporary for now but in the spring i'm going for my permanent licence and i can't wait!!!!!!!
now i own a 2009 suzuki boulevard m109r limited edition and i sold my zx12r to a friend of mine.
