Stayed off bikes for a while, but the traffic got the better of me. I was termed "OLD BIKER" recently by a young salesman at a bike shop in Pretoria. I was rather offended!! Maybe age is catching up. However I am an electrical engineer in a rather demanding and challenging job and this has intensified with the electricity shortage in South Africa. Best means to de stress is to take to the road on a bike. Car adds to stress with gridlock traffic in Pretoria and Johannesburg.
