As a kid I started riding mini bikes, go-carts, atv´s and other junker-toys my cousins had around the yard. The first real bike I learned to ride was my Dad´s 1977 Yamaha on-road/off-road bike when I was about 14. Since then I have occationally ridden the Honda-matic up at the family cabin and another on-road/off-road bike that is now at the mountain house. I had the bug to have my own bike since rididng on the back of my hubby´s rocket is not fun - especially when it 100 mph and he doing wheels or anytime he says - hold on! I got my permit and went shopping this summer. I have always loved the Monster and like the classic Bonnie´s but decided I better buy something to start and just picked up a 1979 CB 650c - I hoped to turn it into more of the cafe racing style and get my ridding legs before I decide what I really want to ride...hopefully its the Ducati! Currently she doesn´t run but I see some nice tricked out ones on here so I am inspired to make it look cool and ride it this fall. Currently she doesn´t run but I have it in the shop.
