I always road dirt bikes when I was a kid. First the minitrail 50's. Then SL70 and DS100 and then YZ400. Always wanted a TT 500 and got my chance about 20 years ago. A guy I worked with sold me a 79 TT 500 along with a 78 XT 500. The TT had been in storage at Burlington Ia. The only thing I have done to the bike is put on tires when I bought it and chang the oil and plug every year. I maybe put on 20-25 miles a year around town.I don't think the bike has ever seen the dirt or rain. This bike has throttle response,very hard to keep the front end on the ground.
