BlackandBlueEdelweiss
I started riding in Switzerland back in 1995 with an Honda CM125. It was an 8th-hand and 10 years old bike for beginners. I kept this bike until May 2002 to change it for "The Black and Blue Edelweiss", a beautiful R850R Black Night Special with white lines on the tank. My wife calls it "La Cafetera" and its also her favourite's bike.
Back in 2003 I joined the "Club de Motos BMW de España" and started riding "big style" with some experienced guys, learning new friends, new roads, great moments and thousands of kilometers around Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland and Germany. It was really a great idea to join them and I learned to love this bike. Meanwhile, I've been upgrading it with quality pieces to enhance performance and to give it a even nicer look (if possible).
The year 2005 arrived and I could ride a brand new K1200S at the old and nice Calafat circuit, close to Barcelona. Astonishing! A little later the "sister-model" came out to the market, the brutal and naked K1200R model, in which in fell in love with inmediatelly.
It took me two years of dreaming, phantasizing and, of course saving, until I got "Ziggy Marsfinder" (my wife calls it "il Missile" and refuses to join me). A dream bike!
The K1200LT was the only way to convince her to share wonderful bike-moments on bike and so arrived "LT" (alias "Mrs. Godiva" for her) in April 2008.
Together we went to Bilbao, San Sebastian, Menorca and I took a longer ride to Germany, Czech Republic and Austria by myself. Wonderful bike for long distances!
Here are some pics of them and hope you will like them!
Enjoy,
