I bought the bike for $1,550.00 from a local dealer in 2001 with 33,000k on it. It only has 39,500 on it now. It came with Progressive Suspension shocks, Mac 4-1 exhaust, Plexistar 2 windshield, K&G sissy bar, and new tires. I put on a K&N air filter($70.00), an inline fuel filter, a used 750cc Suzuki GIXR exhaust canister($50.00), a used Hondaline rack & backrest($40.00 and VERY hard to find), both handlebar switch assemblies with good used ones, and replaced the stock grips with gel grips. I made saddlebags from 2 Air Canada carry-on luggage bags for $50.00(I´m Canadian, eh!). I also rewired the rear turn signals with used front signals and turned them into running lights, like the fronts, so I would have more nighttime visibility. The cops don´t even notice them. I need to replace the chain and sprockets next year and am going to increase the rear sprocket by one tooth. I also changed to Mobil 1 synthetic oil, and I put a female plug adapter on my battery so that I can plug in a battery charger with a male plug on the end. I think I´m about done! Except for maybe the replica Shoei FM2 1/4 fairing I saw down at the dealers. I just made and replaced a new seat cover for the bike, (May 2004).
