Jack McNeice, from Canberra, Australia had his first ride on a Yamaha PW50 at a school fete when he was 3. His dad Allan used to take him to school on the back of a motorbike. When he was 6 he took Jack to a round of the Australian Superbike Championship at Lakeside, Queensland where he met the 1998 Australian Superbike Champion Marty Craggil and 500GP rider Gary McCoy. Mick Doohan was his hero. He told his dad he wasn´t born to go to school, he was born to race motorbikes! He started racing Dirt Track and Motocross at the ACT Motor Cycle Club when he was 8, on a highly modified Pee Wee 50. Then he raced a KX60 for 3 and a half years. In 2004 he raced a KX65 and KX85 for Canberra Motorcycle Centre in the ACT MX Championships, the NSW Dirt Action Amcross Series, the NSW State Junior MX Titles and the Australian Junior MX Titles. In those series in the 11-U13yrs 65cc Class he finished 3rd, 5th, 5th and 21st overall. In 2005 Canberra Motorcycle Centre invited Jack to join the www.gobike.com.au Kawasaki Motocross race team, racing a big wheel KX85. In 2006 he raced for Canberra Motorcycle Centre Racing and www.gobike.com.au, in the 12-U14yrs 85cc class on a small wheel KX85 modified to Team Green specs, and in the 12-U14yrs 125cc class on a big bore 107cc KX85 big wheel with a Wiseco kit. In 2007 he raced for Canberra Motorcycle Centre (CMC) Racing on a Team Green Spec KX85 and a KX125. As a Junior he regularly raced against Australia´s No 1 Tye Simmons #42 and Chad Reed´s cousin Jason Reed #15. In 2008 he raced the CMC Racing 2006 KX125 and a 2007 KX250F, and in the Australian Senior Classic Dirt Track Championship finished 3rd in the Modern 250 Class. In 2009 and 2010 Jack raced in the Under 19's 250F Class in the Dirt Action Amcross series and finished 2nd and 3rd overall. In 2011 Jack raced for the UEA Racing Under 19's Development Team on the CMC Racing KX250F in the 9 round Rockstar MX Nationals and the 5 round Monster Energy SuperX Under 19's classes. His best results were a 13th at the Toowoomba MX Nats, 8th at the Sydney SuperX and 12th overall in SuperX. In 2012 he is still racing for UEA and CMC on a KX250F. During his 12 year racing career Jack's other sponsors have included Kawasaki Australia, O'Neill, Fox, Dunlop, M2R, Shoei, Fly Racing, Dragon, Sidi, Maxxis, RK, Motul, Pirelli, Thor and Axis Motorsports. Jack has been coached by Matt & Lach Haskins, Greg Moss, Dave Harvey and Dad. His training buddies and Team Mates have included Scott Abigail, John Campbell, Brock Fayle, Josh Melis, Sid Rowlands, Lewis Reardon, Joe Gillespie, Joel Griggs and Tommy Buckle. Racing is fun, especially in the wet. Jack's a member of the ACT Motorcycle Club (www.actmcc.com.au) and race there whenever he doesn't have national racing committments.
