I actually had my heart set on a Harley Davidson Sportster but decided I need a starter bike mostly for financial reasons. I found this virtually untouched and bone stock for $800. I thought it would be a good bike to get me through a couple of summers until I am ready to upgrade. I started working on it, replacing all worn parts and doing my first paint job. I have since fallen in love with this bike and have no intentions of getting rid of it. It leaks oil like crazy and the starter sucks like they all do. So this winter I am going to take the engine out and split the cases to replace the gaskets and fix the leaks. I also have a power clip to install to fix the starter issue and bought forward controls on ebay which should be here tomorrow. I am very excited to get Veronica (that's what my wife named her) back on the road in the spring.
