I aquired the yamaha xj750rj just awhile back , i swapped it for a older computer , it was very sick yet running , number 1 being the starter clutch which was in need of repair , i did all the work myself and then some , it still needs a re ring as the oil rings are worn or the incorrect ones fitted as the compression rings are fine , but i needed the old thing on the road and just slapped it all back together but made sure i would not need to remove the engine again and only the head/barrels so i fitted new cam chain / starter clutch and chain +guide and checked everything whilst it was apart. Anyone got a set of Rings? More info on the web page.....
