Bought my first bike, a 1982 Honda CM450 from a farmer in Minnesota for only $600 who had it stored in his barn for a while. Changed the modified straight pipes back to stock. Only had about 7,xxx miles on it and in great shape. Never had any problems with it. Runs Great. Perfect starter bike.
