It was during an exibition race at Ascot Park Speedway in Gardena,Ca. in 1969. My brother, Mike Shorrow and I were riding a mini bike with a sidecar designed by our father,Stan Shorrow (proffessional sidecar racer)which we had just completed bulding.As we going into turn one of the 1/2 mile dirt oval,(on a rig that was designed for asphalt) we suddenly flipped resulting the loss of my left testicle.My racing career ended that night,but it did'nt stop Mike as he later removed the sidecar and followed the racing circuit without me.
