I´m 44 and have ridden bikes for 35 years. Currently own a 1997 Royalstar and a 1979 yamaha Ag in almost original condition with only 3000 klm on the clock. A few years ago I came accross an old Royal Enfield in a farmers shed. All he wanted was a carton of VB for it. I couldn´t resist. Later on (a couple of years) I sold it for $1000 sight unseen, as I knew deep down that I would never get around to restoring it. Still wish I had it though as it gave me a great deal of enjoyment just sitting in the shed. Every now and then i´d pull it out and show someone, then put it back. Great Stuff. In my job I have a lot of contact with local farmers, often visiting their farms. We all know what farmers are like, they never throw anything out. That´s where I see a lot of bikes left in the back of a shed. Particulary now that quads have come into vogue. Often the old bikes can be picked up for bargain prices.
