I started riding on a 1978 Kawasaki KZ200. Fun little bike to zip around Atlanta in while I was going to school. My next bike I got when I moved to Jacksonville, FL was a 1990 Suzuki VX800. Fun ol´ bike. It looked great even though it was 10 years old when I bought it! It was really powerful, and torqey, but lacked the fun. When I joined the Navy in 2000, I sold the bike and missed riding more than anything. I graduated A-school and was getting a bonus and as luck would have it, a buddy of mine was going to be transferred to Pearl Harbor and DIDN´T WANT TO TAKE HIS BIKE!!! I couldn´t believe it. Anyway, he said he´d take $3000 for it, so I quietly gave it to him. It was a ´98 CBR 600 F3 with 4800 miles on it. It wasn´t registered and the column lock was missing, but nothing a little running around a a few bucks didn´t cure. In any event, I spent the rest of my bonus suping it up. And I love it! This is definately the bike I have always wanted. See you on the road!
