I ride a 1981 Kawasaki KZ550 LTD with a DynoJet Stage 3 carb kit, MAC 4-1 exhaust, K&N individual air filters (4), upgraded KZ650 dual brakes & dual disk front wheel, Clubman style handlebars, Emgo low profile sport mirrors, custom shortened rear turnsignals, F.B.C. LED rear tail light, & 4 mini Street Glow neon tubes. I picked up the bike for $600 and I have plans to rebuild the motor & tranny over the winter of ´06/07. It´s a very solid and quick bike! I´m very pleased with Kawasaki´s quality of bikes from the early to mid ´80s. If you get the chance to purchase one, do it! My future plans are to take the bike to the drag strip and turn out mid 12 second or lower 1/4 mile runs with basic upgrades.
