Anybody out there selling parts for a RM 125 1986 G, especially a complete engine drop us a line. If you are rebuilding one I can send a doco with some hints on engine rebuilds. There are some real traps and to be avoided. The engine has been removed and put into a different chassis. The chassis is that of an old 1976 CZ 125 moto crosser. The CZ in its original trim is elsewhere on this web site. The hybrid has been taken out for a run at a road racing circuit. The 12T by 50T sprockets were replaced by 13T by 35T and it was still under geared, 15T or 16T on the front should fix it. The front brake (cable/drum) fell hopelessly short and will need to be replaced with a hydraulic/disc. Two of the carby over flows need to be blocked to stop the bowl draining fuel while the bike is tilted in corners. This was causing a chronic misfire while exiting corners. The bike will be handed over to my 21 yo nephew (more fun than serious racing). The project has been designed so the RM can be converted back to mint condition (or as close as). The RM chassis has been fully reconditioned. Vital parts needed to convert the ZED back to original have been lost DAMN, not making that mistake with the RM.
