I´m a South African living here in the gorgeous region of Los Angeles, with it´s amazing canyons & endless deserted highways into the heart of the state & parks.
I decided after many years of not riding, to finally buy a motorcycle & have a blast. Everyone said I was crazy, as I´d die in LA, but when I researched it & spoke with every rider I know, the consensus was that it´s the most beautiful place to own & ride a bike. The weather is good & I love cruising up PCH alongside the ocean. I somehow had an affinity for classic bikes & was tossing up between a Norton & a Bonneville. I spent 6 years living in London & somehow wanted to just be on a rad looking classic bike, so these were my choices. I went in to Orange County Triumph one day & saw my black Bonny. I deliberated for a month & my mum begged me not to get one, but I couldn´t resist & so one day I was bored & my money was burning a hole in my pocket, so I cruised down there & bought it. Nathan there is deadcool & we went ahead & put on the offroad pipes[which I dig]& put the rubber knee pads on too.
Bike got delivered the next day & I´ve been riding every day since. People stop & admire it when it´s parked on Main St, they look out of their car windows & observe at a light & when riding down Pacific Coast Highway 2 weeks ago, a guy honked next to me & when I looked over he leaned over the passenger seat & gave a thumbs up. Then on Sunday, a Harley rider with a bunch of other Harley riders & girls, said "hey that your Triumph?"
"yes"
"Really cool bike!!"
I was stoked happy about the decision. Anyway that´s all for now.
