I am a Canadian teaching English in Taiwan, and am fairly new to motorcycling. I bought my first motorcycle here, and due to the legal restrictions in Taiwan, I was only able to purchase a 125cc motorcycle for a reasonable cost (anything above 250cc´s requires a special and expensive license and insurance, not to mention the difficulty and expense of finding a larger-capacity bike).
