It´s been 10 years since my last bike, this is my 4th yammie. 84 Vision (first street bike) 83 650 SECA Turbo. (when I was 21 and didn´t wear a helmet!) 82 XS Eleven special (with drag bars, kerker header and carb mods, loud, lots of torque good for beating on with no regrets, but not much better than that) My YZF is my first "modern" bike, and it is sweet. Long rides don´t wreck my back, but it is a very tight and nimble for it´s weight. I´m not looking to run balls-out all the time and I think I does most of what the magazine reviews claim, if not more. If I was a bit younger or more agressive, I would have picked the R6 for the extra $1,000, but this bike suits me well.
