My first bike was a 1978 Yamaha 650 Special. I bought it in May 2001. This past Spring I sold it and purchased a Suzuki GS 500...WOW what a difference! I love this bike...it is so comfortable (much more so than the 650 special), the handling is superb, and the performance is excellent! This winter I plan on doing some light custom work on it to set it apart from other GS 500s of the same year.
