A BIKER'S STORY! My name is Dave, aged 47 years old, I live in Manchester. I started riding Motorcycles at the age of 16, my first Bike was a Yamaha TY 50 Trail Bike, then I had a Honda CB 125 SE, then I got a Kawasaki KH 250 Tripple, & quite a while later I swapped my KH 250 for a Suzuki GT 380 Tripple. That was my Biking days over for the next 20 years, then in January I bought my Suzuki GSXR 1100 Slingshot. It's hard to believe, I have not owned a Bike for all that time. Some people call me crazy, because I've not ridden a Bike for 20 years, or there abouts, then go out & buy a Big, Powerfull Hyper sports Bike with so much more power than I've ever been used to, plus the fact that I'm not used to riding this style of Bike with a full fairing. Well considering that I ain't rode a Bike in 20 years, during the last few months, I've been taking my time getting used to riding again, & having a lot of fun doing so. It's a pleasure to be out on the open road again after such a long time. This time round, I'm doing it right. Fully legal, the correct riding gear & hopefully a bit more responsible! 'COME ON DAVE, WHO YOU TRYING TO KID'? Ok, no wheelies with a pillion passenger & maybe a quick blast around those lovely country lanes.
