Photo Info: I took a faring from an 81'' interstate and custom bulit brackets for mounting. Painted it all torch red, new OEM decals and added ghost flames with pearl white paint and clear coat. Since the pics I have replaced the Elite II tires with a better softer road hugging Dunlop, they wore out much faster. I am now runnign Avon tires and like them so far. I now (2008) have over 60,000 miles on my bike and it still does not use oil and runs like a rocket! I have polished much of the aluminum... (it''s not hard...) I am currently replacing the brake and clutch handles with chrome handles. I have also added XM Sattelitte radio and a 50 watt booster and 4" speakers in the fairing. We are adding an intercom system this year as we buy new helmets. The seat is a Corbin and sits well up to about 2 hours but after that we need a break. Most of the riding done on this bike is double with my wife. The lower fairing (air dam) is original and not many of these bikes still have them. The chrome on the rims is perfect! Great bike! Bought it to part out and make money on the parts but just fell in love with it! |
