This is the only place I have ever been to where there are tree stumps in the surf and on the beach. For a ways on the beach you have to drive your way through the tree stumps. this part of the beach years ago, maybe a 100 years i would guess, use to be part of the woods, which is now about 200 yards to the west, or left on the picture. the whole beach is migrating west. |
