Hi, All! I love motorcycles!!! Had a nice bunch of rare (for USA) bikes: Honda Africa Twin, Dominator, Yamaha XTZ, still have Kawasaki KL-650B Tengai and my latest BMW R1100RT, which I rebuilt from ugly rear-end collision. Beemer is amaizing bike and I gave my bike that rare white paint and police bike look:) To be honest, it really stops traffic or at least slows it down:), Sony stereo AM/FM Cassete, four speaker system, alarm, digital compass, Hi-Lo police siren, L.E.D. police lights (blue/red on the front only for show or at work, red on the back which used as brake back off lights), CB radio (some of my friends ride Gold Wings) and more........ I didnīt have much time to travel on it anywhere far, but I want to go to New Foundland next summer. In the past I have been to Canada on my "Tengai" with Corbin seat on it (real pain in .... you know where:) |

1996 BMW R 1100 RT
Photos: 10
Purchased: Nov 2002
Info: I bought this bike as a "Try to put together" kit contained two salvage BMWs. Front-end was what left from 1996 R1100RT included a motor with severely damaged swing arm and cracked transmition, the other one was hard to ID, it was just transmition, swing arm, rear wheel and rear subframe combination. The final drive was 37/11 gear ratio which sounds like R850? So I had to replaced it wit
