Information: The exact model of my bike is SUZUKI "DR250RXLW". It was imported from Japan, and was manufactured in 1998. This bike is also known as "DJEBEL XC".
The engine is a single cylinder, double overhead camshaft, 249cc. 6 gears (1 down, 5 up).
One of the thing I like most on this bike is the digital (LCD) tripmeter/speedometer with a peach backlight display. This displays the amount of km the bike has done since the beginning and also during trip. It also has trip timings and a digital clock (which up till now I haven´t got any clue how to set!!).
I love the noise of this bike too, the thud-thud coming out of the silencer after adding up a few revs to the engine. I´m sure it would sound much nicer if I had to change the silencer to a modified one (since the one it presently has is an original Suzuki).
The first thing I did as soon as I got it was to clean it of all the dirt it had on it (although I still have to clean and polish some parts here and there). The silencer (fully stainless steel from the engine to the back-end) was brown/black with highly corroded sections, especially the part touching the engine!! However, a miracle called "Autosol" managed to help in this (although I still have to work on it a bit since last Sunday my girlfriend and I ran out of strength polishing the silencer pipe!!).

I sold this bike in September 2006!!
Best bike I ever had. Most economical, used to give me around 70mpg if I made my calculations well... I still think it was a bad decision to sell this bike!
