I am a bloke of 37 years been in to bikes most of my life I moved from Swansea to Rhayader(mid-wales) after losing my license thinking if I get myself an on/off road bike I can take it out to some tracks and have a ride around but everything went pearshaped as there are more places in the city of Swansea than in the middle of wales to ride an off road bike. How berserk is that could somebody help me out with this question I have an 85 model c reg DT125lc drums all around YPVS system but has the newer mono-shock system where the rear footrests bolt to the frame and not on the swingarm like the first dt125lc and to go along with this the chassis number starts 00101 where my haynes manual tells me it is a mk2 dt125lc but all dealers are telling me if it has drums all around it must be a mark 1 but that does not explain the rear footrests no the chassis numbers does anyone know how I can find out as my v5 don't say anything, cheers everyone shiner.
