Member Info: I always had a desire about bikes, but the first time i could afford one was in 2001 when i bought my Gilera Runner VX125. It was brand new and i got my CBT on it. Having done 2500 miles with it, one night some low life scumbags stripped all it´s fairings off, and left me with a frame and an engine. I bought second hand cheap fairings and seat and sold it since i had no place to store it in, and the scumbags knew where i lived. It was a 6 months spent without a bike, but never without the thirst to ride when i got my second bike from ebay, a 2001 Yamaha TZR50. It was a brilliant little bike, it had everything that the big brothers had, disc brakes all around, 6 gears, you name it. Then, it started to feel boring... I had to get a proper bike... Which is why i got my lovely Suzuki RF600R on January 2004. It´s a 1993 16V 6 speed red beauty, and with 100bhp under the seat, it sure feels much better. The only problem with it is that i can´t seem to convince my mates that it´s a 1993. They all insist that it must be a 1998 or close. It just looks so young! Anyway, i´m loving every second of it now, and have some plans to make it look better. It already has got an aftermarket can (legal), so i´m planning to get some coloured footpegs, handlebars, xenon lights, and some touch-up painting. Also i would really like to change the screws on the fairings because they are just plain grey, and that sticks out so much...
