Began in April 2002 with a Kawasaki EX500R, got a new ´2002´ Awesome-in-Black Yamaha YZF600R in April 2003. My opinion is that the 600R is a better "beginner" bike than the EX500, since it doesn´t seem as top-heavy, is smoother, has more power to pull away at lights, is suited to the highway (doesn´t get as buffeted about as the EX500) and has extreme coolness in Black.
My work has included psychiatric nursing, assistant teaching of students with Special Needs, counseling-like interventions with middle school and high school students. Interests include SRV and CDG-style electric blues and folk acoustic guitar, carpentry, bicycle repair and maintenance, general fixit-stuff, and lay science reading (NYT, Discover). Many general interests. Motorcycling has become more of a brain inflammation than an interest, if y´know what I mean...
