Accelerates faster than you would expect if you´re graduating from a 125, and even faster if it´s your first bike. Far better than getting one of these restricted to 33bhp than getting a full power rs125. This cost £1100.

1999 Kymco Zing 125
Photos: 3
Purchased: Jun 2002
Sold: Apr 2003
Info: Had it for a year, a great learner bike, took me through my cbt fine and dandy and used it to do about 4000 miles in 8 months. A great wee bike, that has a the looks and a decent enough engine(max.60mph) to get you confident on the road.
Never mind the latest sports rep 125´s, get something sensible, as you´re always going to break something by dropping it, and the only damamge I did

1998 Honda CB 600 (Hornet)
Photos: 13
Info: Honda Hornet, did have twin Mivv race cans and some flashy bits but had a crap tank range too. Even though it´s a honda, it´s probably the best bike I´ve owned up to this point.
Bought for £1450, sold for £1350.
Had crap tank range and I wasn''t really impressed with the build quality either. Crash bungs are a must, if it goes down, the tank and clocks will take the main damage which will c

Purchased: Nov 2005
Sold: Feb 2006
Info: 2000 model, 12,000 miles, standard bar the hugger and screen Got it for a bargain price of £1800 too!!
Very good on fuel on the motorway, surprisingly so. But a bit boring to ride, it''s all about power with these bikes, didn''t really get much enjoyment out of it and when I did, I was doing top speed runs. Not very good for the license me finks.

2000 Honda VTR 1000

Purchased: Dec 2005
Sold: Mar 2005
Info: 2000 Model Honda VTR1000F
Twin ART race cans (far too loud), apart from that, I think it´s a standard bike really. About as quick as the zx6r but with loads more go when you are riding sedately. Which for me, is 99% of the time.
Feels a bit "agricultural" and most likely nowhere near as fast and sharp as say the rsv''s, sp2''s, tuono''s, falco''s..etc. But still got considering how ch

1997 Yamaha YZF 750
Photos: 2
Purchased: Jan 2006
Sold: Mar 2006
Info: Bought very much on impulse.
Probably handled very well back in the day but felt like I was only touching on this bikes possibilites when riding it. Bit too fast, handling was a bit tough, just felt kinda inadequate riding the thing!!! Bloody thirsty too, at something like 35mpg.
Very cheap bikes to buy but spares are getting rarer.
Soon sold on :(

2000 Suzuki SV 650s

Purchased: Apr 2006
Sold: Jun 2006
Info: FUN!!!
2nd sv and I want another now that I''ve sold it. Had twin renegade exhausts on but beleive me when I say it...they sound crap. Nowhere near as nice as a single race can.
Soggy front suspension as standard and usual crappy fork corrosion but polished them up and it looked good for it''s new owner.
Fully fookin recommend these bikes I do.
Not the pointies though, they are bast*

Purchased: Jul 2006
Sold: Sep 2006
Info: 30,000 miles, standard, good nick, only cost £400!
Good bits: Cheap to buy Cheap to run (on motorway 120 miles = £7 of fuel @ 97.9p a litre) Sounds pretty good Comfortable
Bad bites: Vibration through footpegs!! It IS terrible!!! Short 1st gear Finds neutral between 2nd to 1st too easily. Sounds a bit rattly!!!
Overall, a decent machine that will munch up motorway miles in comfort and b
