This bike was put down on a bridge in 1988 and the owner apparently never road it again. It sat in a shed for 15 years with 28,000 km on it until I bought the house and received the bike with it. Since the local bike scrapper was only going to give me $50 for it and the cosmetics of the bike were almost pristine, I decided to take it on as a project - never having been on a bike in my life. I stripped everything down and had the cams sitting on my bench for a couple of years while I honed cylinders etc and eventually got it all back together. It had the usual pitted cam problem, but ran well - especially after the morgan carb tune vacuum gauge purchase. This thing even has the original exhaust on it. I put the drp oiling mod on it, learned to ride it and have had lots of fun on it over the last few years. This year I can put the classic plates on it. Can't say I've come out ahead financially, but it's a pretty cool bike and not too many around anymore.
