Information: 7000miles so far. The bike is as smooth as silk and 60mph is just as steady and smooth as 120mph. 60mph is at 3500 rpms so pretty good for a 5speed. Havenīt opened it up all the way, but probably will once I get to about 4-500 miles on it, but 120 is 7grand on the tach, so you do the math. It gets right around 42mpg with the mods I have done, and will do wheelies and stoppies as good as you are able to. I love this bike!! comfort, speed and agility all in one bike, granted it isnīt the fastest, or able to out corner a GSX-R, but this bike is right in the middle of it all. If your wondering about the headlights, one is low beam and one is high beam, they are excellent for night driving and the high beams really shoot out there. You can also see I trimmed the rear fender and took off the side reflectors.
8-21-2006 New Updates!!
It has been a long time since I have posted anything. Life tends to get in the way of our toys. I got deployed again and will be in Iraq for about 6 more months. I plan on putting a turbo on the old mule when I get home. I have had plenty of time to gather info, and I am confident I can make it work. As of right now the Bandit has a yosh exhaust and a dynojet stage 1 jet kit along with a ignition advancer, if you ever do a jet kit, get the advancer!! I have had the Bandit out to the drag strip a few times and my best time was 11.6@119mph. That should be a bit better when the turbo is done. Will add more pics soon.
